Tim Regan, Annual Fund, University of Toronto
Email AddressI have always had an intrinsic inclination towards music of all kinds. I could play twinkle twinkle on my xylophone before I could walk or talk. An unfortunate consequence of this is that it seems I was overcompensated for aurally, at the expense of my other senses, especially my eyes. I'm both nearsighted and colorblind, and my sense of smell is virtually non-existent. However, my ears are amazing, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I compose, play, record, mix, and master all of my own music. I can play the piano, acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, and I also sing, flow, and beatbox. I can also program and sequence melody patterns, in the event that I can't get my hands on the instrument that I want to write for, or I want to chop up a sample into a new pattern. I write in multiple genres spanning from hip-hop to death metal and almost everything in between - except for country. I can't stand country music - its just too twangy.

My personal artist identity is cryogenik, and my professional audio portfolio, including audio clips and links to websites and flash presentations that I have written audio loops and made sound effects for can be viewed at www.cryogenik.com and www.blendstudios.com .

I also started a hybrid rock/hip-hop duo last October called OVAFLO. Based on the professional and audience feedback from the shows that we have done since we started, I'm hopeful that we will be affiliated with a  record label within the next year or two.

Adam E. Smith, Manager, Annual Fund, University of Toronto
Email AddressI have been working in fundraising for my entire professional life. Like so many, I started working as a student caller for my alma mater, Brock University, and never looked back. From Brock I moved to the west coast to work with the development team at UVic, after which I moved back to Ontario and spent a brief stint at a health foundation. Now I work at the University of Toronto as Manager Annual Programs (Interim).
