Debbie Menoher, Director of Research, University of Florida Foundation

Email AddressDebbie Menoher is Director of Research for the University of Florida Foundation, which she has held since 1996. During her tenure, UF completed an $850 million dollar capital campaign, and UF is currently in a $1.5 billion dollar campaign.  Prior to UF, she led the research department for The Pennsylvania State University.  In her former profession, she was a business librarian for the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.  She is one of the founding members of the Association of Prospect Researchers for Advancement (APRA) Florida chapter and served as President, Vice President and Program Director.  She has been a member of APRA International since 1990 and served on many committees. She was director-at-large for the Association of Fund Raising Professionals (AFP) Arredondo Chapter, and was past president of ARMA (records management) North Central Florida Chapter.  She was a speaker at the AFP Planet Philanthropy Conference 2010, and served as a faculty member for the Council for Advancement of Education (CASE) Summer Institute for Advancement Services 2005. She is often a guest speaker for UF’s College of Journalism philanthropy courses. She holds a bachelor’s degree in community development from Penn State and a master’s degree in library science from the University of Pittsburgh.
