Alan S. Hejnal, Director of Advancement Services, University of Richmond
Email AddressAlan S. Hejnal discovered the exciting world of advancement services at The Claremont Graduate School (now Claremont Graduate University), becoming the director of prospect management and research. For the last fifteen years he's gone back and forth between being the person in fundraising departments who deals with technical things and the person in information services departments who talks to end users, at Sacred Heart University, DePaul University, Marquette University and Gettysburg College. Along the way, he has worked with a number of fund-raising software systems, and has managed the implementation of fundraising software systems at two different institutions. He serves as an at-large member of the Product Advisory Group, a standing committee of the SunGard BSR User's Group. Alan has a bachelor's degree from Hobart College and master's degrees from The University of Michigan and from Claremont School of Theology.
