Email AddressIn her sixteen year career in Advancement Barbara has played a leadership role in alumni relations at the University of Toronto. With almost 400,000 living alumni and a complex, decentralized structure, the University of Toronto boasts one of the most successful advancement operations in Canada.

Barbara’s experience has included providing direction and support to the University of Toronto Alumni Association as well as serving as a resource to the staff and alumni volunteers at over 30 individual faculties and colleges across the University. Areas of expertise include the revitalization of alumni associations; strategic planning and facilitation; designing methods for measuring the impact of alumni initiatives; integration of alumni and development functions; the design, creation and management of senior volunteer groups.

Barbara’s career has included annual giving, alumni relations, strategic planning for advancement and the design of performance management and assessment tools for Advancement professional staff.
