The world’s future depends on water. No place knows this better than
New Orleans, buffeted by last summer’s Deepwater Horizon oil spill and
threatened anew this summer by historic Mississippi River flooding. But
Tulane Law School is leading important new efforts to ensure a
sustainable future for the Gulf Coast and beyond.
Tulane Law School’s Institute on Water Resources Law and Policy has
emerged as a major player in promoting responsible and far-sighted water
policy for the nation. Its groundbreaking work to integrate coastal
restoration efforts into disaster response in the Gulf is providing a
model for the nation and attracting attention in The New York Times, ABC World News Tonight, and other national media.
Through the Institute and Tulane’s world-class faculty in environmental
law, Tulane Law School provides crucial leadership regionally,
nationally, and internationally.
The future of Tulane Law School is brighter than ever but we need your support.
With your help, we are working to increase scholarship support, expand
faculty resources, and develop innovative job placement strategies to
help ensure the employment options of our graduates.
I hope that you will take this opportunity to make a gift to the Tulane Law Fund and invest in the future of Tulane Law School.
