Board members are often uncomfortable with viewing profiles because they
feel that they contain private information so it is not always easy to
share profiles with the board members.
Some strategies and ideas are as follows:
- Emphasize that the information on the
profiles is that which is available publicly.
- Hand out at the beginning of the meeting
and collect after it is over.
- The fact that members will be reviewing
profiles should be in the board member job descriptions and be included
- All board members should be required to
sign a confidentiality agreement.
