Associate Vice President for Advancement Services |
The
Associate Vice President for Advancement Information Services reports to
the Senior Vice President of University Advancement and is a member of
the senior management team.The AVP has major responsibility for interdepartmental planning and communications regarding key functions, such as gift processing and acknowledgements, data management, donor research, production of internal and external reports and analyses supporting these functions. The AVP for Advancement Information Services functionally supports University Advancement, and also provides information resources university-wide. Candidates must be highly organized and analytical; effective skill and experience in building and maintaining work teams and inter/intra-departmental relationships in a diverse environment are essential. Strong computer skills are required, including an understanding of large computer systems; technical skill/experience with web development tools, programming, web-based data collection, and/or statistical software are highly desirable; must have a high degree of flexibility to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment; strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills and discretion working with confidential materials are essential; development experience in a higher education setting preferred. A Bachelors degree required, preferably in a related field. Position is contingent on funding. |
