 Project Manager, E-Revenue

Serves as E-Revenue’s key driver between online revenue business processes and technical implementation.

Work with E-Revenue Online Managers, Directors, and Online Managers to document and implement online application requirements.

Serve as liaison to various vendors, managing use of multiple online channels and vendors to deliver web-based solutions.

Starting with business requirements from Online Business Managers, analyze business needs to develop functional/technical designs for solutions.

Write detailed functional specifications, for use by both technical and non-technical readers, which describe business transaction functionality, browser-based end-user interfaces, data integration, business-rule processing logic and data communication implementation.

Provide consultation to users in the area of online systems.

Determines project priorities and manages tasks accordingly.

Ensures project deliverables meet business requirements and are clearly understood by the technical team, execute testing on development efforts, contribute to group learning and best practice development.

Participates in project team reviews to review test cases, documentation, and other specifications throughout the development phase to insure all project team members understand and implement functional requirements and user interface plans as intended.

Manages relationships with E-Revenue external vendors.

Works side-by-side with vendors’ project managers to communicate requirements and oversee development of solutions.

Final approval of vendors’ prototype applications or page mock-ups that demonstrate basic components of systems requirements and facilitate end-user acceptance.

Manages multiple simultaneous tasks to completion, develops and maintains positive working relationships with business owners, and promotes teamwork in problem resolution.

Communicates final functionality to end-users and help them understand the application.

May be asked to help develop training material for specific projects.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor products.

Supervises E-Revenue Systems Analyst.

Counsel Directors and Division management in selecting appropriate online revenue technologies to incorporate into their traditional fundraising plans.

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical/business discipline with 3 – 4 years progressive experience analyzing and solving business problems through the development and implementation of business/online technology applications.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Experience in web-based technology systems development life cycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business process models.
  • Demonstrated ability to elicit and document functional requirements to design software applications.
  • Solid understanding of online technologies, processes and goals, as well as customer relationship management.
  • Proven leadership skills from working with clients in an account management or consulting role.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving, to include solid experience in writing functional specifications.
  • Clear and careful oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter, with strong sense of ownership, assertive follow-through, and orientation towards results.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, adapt to change, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate with staff and constituencies from multiple organizations, and to provide strategic guidance in a collaborative, consultative, and positive manner.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to build consensus and to work through others in achieving desired results and objectives.
  • Consistent ability to set and deliver against a work plan in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to travel.
