part-time temporary position for the Office of Advancement and Alumni
Work Schedule is as follows: Sunday, 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and
Monday-Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Advancement, the Phonathon
Manager will oversee all aspects of the Collegeís four-month Annual Fund
Responsibilities include: planning, training and supervising a team of
approximately 30 student callers; monitoring expenses, daily processing of
pledge information, grouping and sorting pledge forms, and generating
statistical information and comparative reports.
Bachelorís degree of an equivalent combination of education, training,
and experience required.
Candidate must have experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel
Previous experience in fund-raising or telemarketing desired.
Excellent written, verbal communication skills; outgoing, motivating
personality; positive attitude; at ease speaking with many people of
various backgrounds; comfortable and confident asking people for money;
and knowledgeable about activities/events occurring at the College.
