PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Assist in supporting the Individual Gifts Program by working with the
Director in developing opportunities to increase fundraising revenue and
directly soliciting gifts.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Presents an annual plan to the Director of Development outlining goals
and objectives for assigned project areas, all aspects of our annual
fund program to include cultivation and strategies for individuals and
design annual fund appeal.
Devise a cultivation and solicitation program for assigned current and
prospective donors with the purpose of securing appointments for
personal visits and conducting solicitations.
Create and implement a stewardship program for assigned individual
donors at the $5,000 and below level. All other major donor strategies
will be coordinated with the Director of Development.
Assist in helping coordinate special events, including Awards event,
record-a-thon, and other cultivation events as assigned.
Increase annually the number of prospects thru research and
identification by networking, publications, and internal procedures.
Work with Director of Development to assist in strengthening and
maintaining our annual, alumni and planned giving campaigns.
Communicate to donors effectively thru written letters, reports,
proposals, and other materials related to projects and donor
Assist in the maintenance of timely donor information utilizing Raisers
Edge donor management software as assigned.
