Data Integrity Manager
Utilizing information technology systems, methods, and vendors, this individual will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and coordination of an aggressive data integrity program that will focus on maintaining accurate constituency data records (particularly contact information).
The establishment and maintenance of key working customer service oriented relationships with various university units will be necessary to complete the above stated functions.
Position may encompass the supervision of part/full time staff and/or student workers.
Successful candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively, possess good organizational skills, utilize technical procedural writing skill, and be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Professional experience providing customer service helpful.
Previous budget experience helpful.
Ability to manage data within a complex database required.
Ability to professionally interact with all levels of the university community.
Computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Office and database applications.
Good keyboarding skills required.
Work Tasks & Duties
Establish, coordinate and maintain data integrity procedures, processes and policies that efficiently enhance data integrity. Stay abreast of peer data integrity processes and methods; and technology tools. (30%)
Establish and maintain detailed, consistent, and sound communication systems with key university units affected by data integrity issues. Ensure and facilitate communication and collaboration amongst diverse groups. Serve as contributing member of Data Integrity Committee and keep committee informed of data integrity issues. (20%)
Through extensive coordination with information technology staff, interact with numerous vendors responsible for the screening and updating of constituent data. Required work with contracts, bill reconciliation, establishment of timelines, and being the main contact/facilitator on behalf of the college/university. Collaborate with affected university units. (15%)
Establish, coordinate, and maintain solid, communicative, and consistent working relationship with Informational Technology staff while adhering to a collaborative master schedule of data integrity screenings and activities. (15%)
Working within the data mainframe, update constituent records as needed in keeping with established policies and procedures. (10%)
Organize, train, and supervise data integrity staff, when applicable to the position. (5%)
Create and implement a data entry users group whose purpose will be to address data integrity issues, policies and procedures. Assist in the creation and supervise the monitoring of audit reports that ensure the success of data integrity procedures. (5%)
