 Annual Fund Chairperson

The Annual Fund Chairperson is a highly distinguished and recognizable alumnus/a of the school, who promotes annual unrestricted giving to the school through “personalized” contact with alumni through various forms of communication and in person as set forth by the school and the Office of Alumni and Development.

Qualifications and Duties
  1. He/She should be a current donor to the Annual Fund at the Dean’s Circle level or higher and maintain the same or greater level of support while in this position.
  2. Serves as a source of advice in reviewing the plans and strategies that relate to the direction of the Annual Fund.
  3. Attends and participates in an initial training session for student and alumni phonathon callers each year.
  4. Solicits and acknowledges Annual Fund gifts, when necessary.
  5. “Lends” his signature, thoughts and life experiences to Annual Fund appeals to give them the “personal touch.”
  6. Assists the Office of Alumni and Development with the initiation of new programs such as the Alumni Class Gift Program, Class Gift Program, Reunion Class Gift Program, Law Firm Gift Program and Challenges, etc.  Also assists in the recruitment and selection of Class Gift Representatives (students and alumni), Reunion Class Gift Representatives and Law Firm Representatives.
  7. Supports the endeavors of the Alumni Association Annual Giving Committee.
  8. The Director of Annual Fund serves as the liaison for the Annual Fund Chairperson.
  9. The Annual Fund Chairperson’s term will be two years.
