 Alumni and Advancement Coordinator

Employment Eligibility Requirements (In addition to KSC Conditions of Employment):

Must have at least one Semester of phoning experience.
Possess knowledge of phoning policies and procedures.
Be in compliance with attendance and tardiness policies.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities/Expectations:

Work three shifts per week, including at least one Weekend Shift.

Be prepared to meet the supervisor hour requirements, and be available to work at least one week in advance of classes for the Spring semesters.

Attend weekly meetings and at least two functions per semester.

Some extra hours may be needed to complete special projects.

Successfully complete a Supervisor Training Period.

Assist in the caller hiring process (interviews, training sessions, equipment training sessions).

Manage up to 12 callers per shift.

Conduct nightly on-going training sessions, be available to answer questions, and provide immediate feedback to Phonathon callers.

Plan and implement nightly motivational strategies.

Monitor and evaluate caller performance.

Provide positive reinforcement and constructive criticism.

Participate in long- and short-term individual and team program goal setting.

Expected to phone on a regular basis (nightly, or as needed).

Open call rooms, determine shift call segments, complete end of shift paperwork, and close call rooms.

Assist in coordination of an effective incentive program.

Become proficient in many aspects of KSC Phonathon including market segmentation, donor stewardship, and telemarketing techniques.

Assist in writing and editing Caller and Supervisor Manuals and call scripts.

Keep abreast of current College news and events.

Manage alumni and corporate partner news clipping service.

Consistently abide by and enforce the KSC Calling Room Policy.

Responsible for the consistent and complete execution of Pre & Post shift responsibilities.

Conduct alumni research including current contact information and interests.

Perform other duties as assigned.
